To be fair, the wrap system in NFS 2015 allows for far bigger customization than the 4 vinyl slots in Underground games (you could set which vinyls to place, in which order and in what color). and especially the Most Wanted 2005 (which only limited you to a single vinyl slot). Its one of the very few things that the game actually does right. NFS Underground 2 VS NFS Most Wanted | Which Is Better! I recently played that Most Wanted too, as well as the old NFS Underground 1 and the catch-up in both games is absolutely absurd even on easy. Most Wanted sucked for this because as far as I could tell, you couldn't change the difficulty of your career mode anywhere. NFS Underground 2 and Carbon didn't have catch-up NEARLY as bad.
As I hinted (mostly I just wanted to take the chance to get that rant out of my system), I like Carbon better generally - not just because of MW's rubberbanding. IMO, it has better characters, a better selection of cars, better customization and tuning, better physics and much better graphics. Need for Speed Unbound looks great, is a lot of fun to play, and most importantly, leaves me feeling quite good about the future of the Need for Speed franchise as a whole.
