FAQ. FAQ #149. C4 Bluetooth default Passcode? I bought myself an 05 vtr+ coupe and want to pair my phone with the stereo. Does anyone know what the passcode is? I've tried the usual 0000 and 5555 etc but I keep getting the message ' pairing conditions not met'.
This is the stereo in my 2011 C4 Picasso: Audio streaming via Bluetooth responds a bit differently (better!) to plugging directly into the USB socket, which gives "iPod" functionality. The brochure at the time describes the car as having "Connecting Box - Bluetooth system with USB socket". Cheers, Ivan.
I think I resolved it by deleting the pairing, switching the phone off and on again, and then starting the process all over again. Also make sure the phone is 'discoverable' - sometimes it's in the Bluetooth settings. I'm not sure how exactly I got there, but I did in the end!

Out of interest are you listening to DAB radio stations when this happens. Sounds stupid i know, but i usually listen to bbc6 music for a number of months and then recently this problem started. A colleague said it was due to radio data broadcast with signal. He said try another station and problem will not happen.

Check that the audio settings are adapted to the sources listened to. Adjust the audio functions to the middle position. With the engine off, the system switches off after a few minutes of use. When the engine is switched off, the system's operating time depends on the state of charge of the battery.
