I scanned for codes using Bimmer Tool and got the following codes: 9c48, 9c49, 9c4c, 9c4e, 9c50, 9c52 You have EIGHT (8) Flap Motors. The LAST 6 motors in the Series LIN BUS chain (green wires) are NOT functioning, the Defrost. and Recirculation Flap Motors ARE working presumably (NO fault Codes). Lastly, I have never heard that heater valves typically fail at full hot as DF mentioned, but he knows more than me. When you turn on the demister all that noise is present on the demister grid which is adjacent to the antenna.

DEFA and BMW Canada Preheater Systems. The $695 installed plug in unit charges battery, heats interior and heats probably coolant rather than oil ( oil would be better). Cheaper if car already has an installed DEFA charger ( I assume for battery). Norwegian DEFA has many diverse heating products. The video shows iPhone/android remote applications.
The easiest way is to remove the steering wheel and compare it to a car that has steering wheel heat. 2. Assuming your X7 is pre-wired for steering wheel heat (and you obtain a heated steering wheel) you will need to get your car coded to "turn on" the steering wheel heat feature in the X7's software. The above steps are somewhat simplified
Hi I have a 06 bmx x5 4.4i. I had heat then after working on car the heat was only on one side. Then it ran hot I fixed the thermostat, water pump, temperature sensor.. its still ran hot wasn't fully bleed after fully bleeding I drive home bout 55 miles away still no heat but it did not over heat.
