There was no hotseat in Rome 1, only lackluster multiplayer. I did my best to find any means to play hotseat for Rome TW as it was on Medieval 2 TW, but with not much luck. Arverni, Tylis, Galatia, and Boii are quite powerful and easy to use, and a big reason why I think the Rome 2 multiplayer metagame got so stale. The combination of levy freemen (very cheap spear unit with quite high bonus vs. large), cheap and powerful + cost effective mid tier swords, and the overabundance of precursor javelins in these I will release the following video next week.
