Additionally, it may also come with features like climate control, power windows, Bluetooth connectivity, and a touchscreen infotainment system. Overall, the Skoda Octavia (2011) is a reliable and practical car that offers a comfortable and spacious interior, good performance, and a range of features to suit different needs.
For most smartphones, you can access the Bluetooth settings through the quick settings menu or the main settings app. Turn on Bluetooth and keep your smartphone’s Bluetooth screen open as as you connect your phone to the infotainment system of Octavia. On iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
It found the Skoda, a set of numbers appeared on my Columbus, and a voice backed this up saying 'Enter code XXXX on your phone'. The Samsung then asked me whether I wanted to pair using SIM access (ie RSAP). I said yes to that. Then the phone asked me if I always wanted to connect automatically in the future. I accepted that.
Posted 6 August, 2013. I too am looking into this; the only one I have found so far is the Kenwood DNX521DAB. It does shows the parking sensors and climate control settings - also has Bluetooth and Nav. Cheapest i have seen is £900..not cheap. There is also the Zenec ZE-NC2011D, at about £100 cheaper.
In the future, the car will be controlled by voice commands. But many drivers already use this technology today and control some of the car's features with their voice only. The Škoda digital voice assistant is called Laura and understands fluent sentences. To start fulfilling your wishes, simply contact her: "Okay, Laura!"

Ross-Tech VCDS & HEX V2 will give you ability to: Gain factory level information to all modules in most Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Skoda and Bentley models from 1990 through the current year. Scan and erase diagnostic-trouble-codes with 25,000+ fault codes. Modify functionality of various modules through coding.

This seems logical but is in fact incorrect, I have the same model car without any steering wheel controls, but have full Bluetooth and MFD controls on the end of the windscreen wiper arm (RHD car, so not sure if would be on Wiper or Indicator arm on LHD).
