Hi guys, Looking at buying my first car and found a good deal on a 58 Fiat Grande Punto 1.4 Dynamic Sport. Done 51k. Went and had a look at it and it all seems fine, took it for a test drive, just had an MOT and new tyres etc. Thoughts on fiat grande punto as a first car? Models from 2007, 2008, 2009. 1.3 multijet. Most of them have anywhere from 110k to 150k km on the clock. And it is around 4000€. Car will be used mostly for city driving.
Full points to Fiat for the Punto. I've found is really hilarious that people working so hard to find fault with the Punto. Equally hilarious is how people say the stupid Ritz is a good car. I've been driving Maruti's all my life. Only after a few days in a Palio did I realize what I was missing. The Punto takes it forward from there.

May 13, 2007. #5. You will easily get away with 17s as that is what the Sporting runs on (and that is lowered 20mm as standard in comparison to all the other GPs). Since ive had my wheels done im thinking its got to be lowered next. The thing is the back looks about 20mm higher than the front but i cant just lower the back because it will pivot.

Unfortunately the Evo hasn't sold well so the main supermini offering that people think of from Fiat is the poorly-built Grande Punto. I generally see 2 GP's to every Panda & i think if it wern't for the very good-selling 500 being dependable, most people would've considered Fiat as a make to avoid, because the only well built & decent selling Qn3W.
